SKINLESS is a Berlin-based experimental studio focused on the environment, material memory and textures. Our work reframes the environment not as backdrop, but as the central object and material, transforming the surfaces and landscapes we move across into objects, sculptures and wearables.

SKINLESS is about the marks we leave on places and the marks places leave on us. This is reflected in the process of creating our objects. Rather than concealing process or irregularity, we allow texture and trace to remain visible.

The texture of the world, its filigree and scrollwork, means that there is the possibility for beauty here, a beauty inexhaustible in its complexity, which opens to my knock, which answers in me a call I do not remember calling, and which trains me to the wild and extravagant nature of the spirit I seek.”
